The last month has been truly amazing for us at the Hut. The Q love & warm welcome we have received at our Arkville joint is so greatly appreciated. Make the long hours all worth it. You’ve been great to us so we want to show a bit of love back at ya!

On Super Bowl weekend, we made a bet with KC’s Rib Shack in New Hampshire. When the Giants won, KC’s donated $100 to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society & opened a $50 tab at the Hut. We’re using that tab this Thursday for our customer appreciation day:

In early Spring 2011, Backroads Motorcycle Tour Magazine visited our Andes incarnation & gave us an amazing write up in the May 2011 Great All American Diner Run column. We probably saw more business from that single article than all of our advertising combined.

We are even more pleased to be named 1st runner up in the 2011 Great All American Diner Run. Appears we lost the top honor because the winner had a waterfall!

We’re excited & honored to have been a part of David Landsel’s Best of 2011: Catskill Cool. He chose us as one of the great lunches in the Catskills saying our brisket “will likely rock your world” (online edition) & “is some of the most memorable you’ll eat this year” (print edition). No pressure there!

We are also honored to be in some mighty fine company in the feature with the likes of Tay Home, The Roxbury & Kingston’s Stockade District.
